Always Use A Real Local Florist

We always look for ways to educate our BobbiesFlowers fans and what better time to do this just before the upcoming Mother's Day holiday.

There are many bogus shops out there on the internet and in the yellow pages of the phone book. These fake shops are called "Order Gatherers" in the floral industry. I looked in our local phone book today and found 13 shops listed as "Your local Florist" and don't have a shop in Arizona. The truth is they are not even a flower shop,they are a call center who take your order and charge you a large service fee and then send the order to a REAL florist to fill the order. They also often skim $$$ off the top and give the REAL shop only a portion of what you paid. The internet is also filled with these fake shops, so please be careful when purchasing anything on the internet. I often tell people to call and ask where they are located and if they can come and pick up a rose or two. If they say "NO" they are not a real shop.
