The "Lunch Club", Helping Local Businesses is what it's all about!!!

Great day to everyone and THANKS Tony and his super staff at Marcello's Pasta Grill for a wonderful lunch. Our "Lunch Club" is here to stay and we WILL help every local Mom & Pop business to thrive, even in these tough times. The goal of the "Lunch Club" is to network and promote each local business while having a great meal at one of our hometown restaurants. Our group has been growing and we would love for it to get even bigger. At our last meeting we had 47 wonderful peeps and look forward to packing the CASA at the next one. No matter what product you are purchasing, there is a local shop to find it at!!! Like flowers, plants or roses, GO TO BOBBIE"S!!! Need stuff to fix up the home, use your local ACE Hardware!!! Hey Guy's need your hair cut and talk some FOOTBALL, go to Nash's Barber Shop (SE corner of Southern and Mill)!!! Need office supplies, use OPACS for all office supplies!!! So, Now you get the idea, ALWAYS USE LOCAL merchants.

Location: Casa Reynoso's Mexican Restaurant, 3138 S. Mill   Tempe  (NW corner Southern & Mill)

Time: 11:00 - Meet & Greet     11:30 Lunch & Networking Starts

Who can attend - EVERYONE, invite a friend, invite 10 friends, lets pack the CASA!!!

Helping out Local Businesses- Wine Bar this time

I hope everyone has been doing well... Do you have plans on Friday night?

An old friend of mine recently moved back to the Valley, and set up a great little wine bar (that also offers a variety of microbrews) called Crush'd in North Scottsdale--good food, and great, affordable wines.  And so... given the current state of the economy, they are struggling, and she asked me for a little help to get people in the door.  So we have put together a small event for this Friday, August 28th from 7pm to 9:30pm, at Crush'd Wine Bar, featuring the music of J. Miller, a talented musician along the same lines as Jason Mraz or Jack Johnson.  

I hope you can join us--and if not, please share with your friends, family, and colleagues, and maybe they can check out and see what Crush'd is all about!

The Park Restuarant in L.A.

My Friend Dave Barnhart has a Blog called the www.fumblingfoodie.com and in his last post he talks about a restaurant in L.A. called The Park. It sounds like a wonderful small place with quality food. we are going to start sharing some of our favorite restaurants and recipes with you on our blog. If you would like to include a great place to eat or your favorite recipe, please comment on one of our posts and include the info and please give me your phone # so I can get all the details correct. We are only going to talk about Mom & Pop Restaurants (No Chain Places). Our goal is to start patronizing only LOCAL restaurantss and to have a "Lunch Club" that will meet every month at a LOCAL place for socializing and a bit of networking.  Thanks Dave for a great Post!!!

Networking at a local Restuarant!

Melissa, a friend of mine and fellow member in the MVP networking group is having a informal networking

get together tomorrow, Thursday Aug 13th at 12:00 Noon at Rock-N-Roll Fingers. If you haven't been there you are missing the best Chicken Fingers this side of the Mississippi. Come join us and help support a good local business. We are also talking about having a monthly "Lunch Club" where we would meet once a month at a local Mom & Pop eatery (No Chain Restuarants), Just keeping our $$$ Local!!!!
